Originally from a suburb of Rochester, New York, I have forsaken the North for the milder climate of Virginia, where I have lived for almost ten years. In spite of my technical education in computer science, physics and engineering, writing is my true passion. I enjoy both technical and non-technical writing as well as fictional composition, both short and long. I have been the primary author (primary researcher and sole writer) of several long technical works including a doctoral dissertation.

The purpose of Black Dog is to put my writing skills to work for other people, both to provide them with outstanding writing services and to give me more time to do what I really love. I seek to assist clients who have information to convey but insufficient time or skill to compose it properly. It is important to me to work with my clients to meet their needs within their schedule and budget while providing a finished product that exceeds their expectations.
