My doctoral dissertation involved dielectric waveguides composed of so-called double negative metamaterials. This work is slated to be released soon at the
Virginia Tech Digital Library and Archives. My master's degree work culminated in a thesis on helical antennas, which has been released for general distribution (see the
above-mentioned site). During my undergraduate work, although I did not achieve a minor in the subject, I was quite involved in computer science. I took a number of courses in both software and hardware, including two semesters of independent study on computer architecture and design.
